Biden finds himself on the defensive after G20 leaders fail to rally around Ukraine

President Joe Biden failed to get world leaders to object to Russia's war in Ukraine at a weekend summit in India

producing opposition from Kiev and putting him on the defence as he ended up an international trip.

Although never Russian President Vladimir Putin nor Chinese President Xi Jinping were in attendance

Russia and China defeated the United States by mobilising the international community

to oppose the conflict that started more than a year and a half ago.

Biden visited Hanoi after attending the meeting in New Delhi in order to improve ties with Vietnam.
